Equipped with your NIE numbers, head to the bank to open an account. This is also necessary because you can only pay at a Spanish notary with a Spanish bank check. You will therefore need to transfer the funds to your Spanish account. For this check (on the day you go to the notary), the bank will charge you between €150 and €600 depending on the amount. In Luxembourg, your bank should not charge you any fees.

 

After signing the deed, we will also accompany you to the same bank for compulsory fire insurance for your property.
